We are tying some flies for the Alberta Conservation Association for their Kids Can Catch program. We are looking for flies in size 10 to 14 that are suitable for catching small trout as an alternative to bait. Leeches, woolly buggers, woolly worms, chironomids, nymphs, damselflies are all good choices. Check your fly boxes! Perhaps you have some spares or duplicates that don’t get used anymore. Bring your flies to a meeting to put in the box for the ACA.
For every dozen flies you submit you will get one entry into a contest to win a $100 gift certificate from the Fishin’ Hole. Deadline is the April 9, 2025 meeting.
So far we have raised 200 towards our 1,440 target! That‘s 14% of the total!
