Genetic study in Upper Pembina – closure impact

Genetic analysis of Arctic grayling from the upper Pembina watershed showed the presence of two well-differentiated groups. This is the home of the Northern Lights Fly Fishers chapter of Freshwater Conservation Canada, based in Edmonton, Alberta.

We are dedicated to sharing the sport of Fly Fishing, the art of Fly Tying, and conservation of our cold water resources for future generations. Club meetings are held at Queen Mary Park community hall in Edmonton and sometimes on Zoom
